Dr. Burkhart's Special Interests in Medicine
He is a medical dermatologist.
He has no cosmetics side business.
With an appointment, you see the doctor, not a nurse or physician assistant.
When you call the office, you hear a human voice directly.
He performs the standard removals for moles, warts, skin cancer, but no flaps, grafts, or Mohs unless warranted.
He also do procedures on the first visit such as biopsies, wart removal, and mole removal if needed.
If a biopsy or blood test reveals a medically significant finding, he personally calls the patient by phone with those results.
Please note that one of the ways his office keeps charges below others, is that the office does not accept plastic credit cards, it only accept cash and checks.
The specialty of dermatology is devoted to diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin problems, skin rashes, skin eruptions, growths, and disorders of hair and nails.
Dr. Burkhart's main interest is patient care and he appreciates our patients who have directed their relatives and friends to the office. He is not slowing down and continues to write articles in medical literature with recent topics including nail product safety, soaps which make floors more slippery in bathrooms, herpes, bacteriophage treatment to reduce antibiotic resistance, squamous cell carcinoma risk factors, COVID, benefits and concerns of sunscreens, airborne transmission of parasites, acne biofilms, and role of bacterial glues in dandruff and keratosis pilaris.
Remember to stay safe.
Prayers,
Craig G. Burkhart, MD, MPH
